  • Building the Future
The University of Oregon’s football team has the goal of being national champions. They have been building a sustainable program with the primary focus of being the best. The athletic department wanted to redesigned their locker room and set a benchmark for locker rooms moving forward. Oregon asked Downstream to help create a space that would improve the experience of coaches and athletes, and inspire the next generation of Oregon athletes.

  • Thinking Beyond
Downstream set out to build a highly functional locker room that blended beautiful design, storytelling, and technology into a space that would redefine the locker room experience. Our design solution created a de facto theater, where the coach could talk to all the players at once while they are at their lockers. Each locker contains ventilation and internet access. Near the locker room entry, a touchscreen interactive shows live views of the stadium. And when the players are ready to storm the field, huge doors open up and let the team out en masse, adding to the excitement.
